Operating instructions

Please note:

  • Only charge with devices rated and marked with 5V to avoid damage to the speaker.
  • Do not open up the speaker, it voids the warranty and may damage the product.
  • Rechargeable batteries have a limited number of charge cycles. Battery life and number of charge cycles vary by use and settings.
  • Never place the speaker close to high-temperature heat sources.
  • To maintain a valid product warranty, never try to repair the product yourself.

THE SPEAKER’S BATTERY

  • A built-in rechargeable battery powers the speaker.

 

CHARGING

  • Connect the supplied charging cable to the charge input and to a USB port on your computer or to a USB charger. The charging LED is lit white when charging, and the 4 LED indicators will be solid white when fully charged. It is recommended to charge 10 minutes before you power on the speaker if it has been off for 7 days.

 

POWER ON/OFF

  • Power on: Long press the power button for 3 seconds to power on the speaker, then the Bluetooth indicator light is on and you can connect Bluetooth devices.
  • Power off: Long press the power button for 3 seconds to power off the speaker, and then the Bluetooth indicator will turn off.

SIRI FUNCTIONALITY

  • Short press the power button to activate Siri (iOS ), and it also supports Huawei intelligent voice assistant.

CONNECT THE SPEAKER

  • Turn on the speaker, and the Bluetooth indicator will flash white. On your device, commence a search for nearby Bluetooth devices. Select the speaker from the list (WAVE 3S-2033). It will give an indication sound when the connection is successful, then the Bluetooth indicator will turn solid white.
  • Only one Bluetooth device can be connected at the same time.
  • If you want to connect another device to the speaker, then first disconnect the current one.

DISCONNECT THE SPEAKER

  • When it’s connected via Bluetooth: long press the Bluetooth button to disconnect.

RECONNECT THE SPEAKER

  • Some Bluetooth devices support automatic reconnection, and with those devices, the speaker will automatically reconnect. The speaker will not automatically reconnect on devices that do not support automatic reconnection.
  • When it’s not connected: long press the Bluetooth button to connect to the last disconnected device.

PLAYING MODE

  • Short press Bluetooth button to switch different playing modes: BT, AUX, SD card.

EQ MODE

  • Double press the Bluetooth button to switch different EQ modes: Standard, Bass, and 3D.

PLAY MUSIC USING MICRO SD CARD

  • Connect a micro SD card and power on the speaker.

AUDIO CABLE CONNECTION

  • Power the speaker on. Connect a 3.5 mm audio cable to the speaker and your device. The speaker is now connected to your device.

THE PAUSE BUTTON’S FUNCTIONALITY

  • Short Press:
    • Music playback status: play / pause function.
    • When there is an incoming call: answer the call.
    • When you’re receiving the call: hang up the phone call.
  • Long Press:
    • When you’re calling: Press 2 seconds to reject the call.
    • Press 2 seconds to enter the True Wireless Stereo (TWS) connection, once connected, press 2 seconds to disconnect the TWS connection.
  • Double press: When it’s connected via Bluetooth to your phone: to call back the last call.

CHANGE VOLUME AND SONG

  • When listening to music (Bluetooth or SD card mode)
    • Increase volume: Short press on the “+” button
    • Decrease volume: Short press on the “- “ button
    • Previous song: Long press on the “-” button
    • Next song: Long press on the “+” button
  • AUX mode
    • Increase volume: Short press on the “+” button.
    • Decrease volume: Short press on the “- “ button.

HANDS-FREE FUNCTIONALITY

  1. Connect your phone via Bluetooth, the speaker will play ringtones while a call coming.
  2. Short press the pause button to answer the call on the speaker, and you can talk to each other through the microphone hole, after the call ends, it will continue to play music.
  3. Long press the pause button on the speaker to reject an incoming call.
  4. When you connect your phone, press twice in rapid pause button to call back the last call by
    telephone.

RESET FUNCTIONALITY

  • Hold the pause button for 8 seconds to automatically reset the speaker and turn it off.

 

AUTOMATICALLY TURN OFF FUNCTIONALITY

  • The speaker will automatically power off in 10 minutes when Bluetooth is not connected and no music is playing.

TRUE WIRELESS PAIRING CONNECTION

  1. Turn on both speakers
  2. Press and hold the Play/Pause button on one of the speakers for about 2 seconds until you hear a “beep” sound. The default is the primary speaker that you operate the Play/Pause button of this speaker for pairing initially.
  3. Release the Play/Pause button. It can take a few more seconds before the speakers are connected to each other. Check the indicator lights to distinguish the L/R channel:
    • The white light on one speaker that is flashing white every 3 seconds is the left channel (L - the primary speaker);
    • The white light on the other speaker that is displaying solid white light is the right channel (R)
  4. Go into the Bluetooth menu on your smartphone or other Bluetooth-compatible device and pair the speakers with your phone by selecting the main speaker model number.

TRUE WIRELESS PAIRING DISCONNECTION

  1. Press and hold the Play/Pause button on one of the speakers for about 2 seconds until you hear
    a “beep” sound.

 

Connectivity issues

  1. Please check whether the multifunction indicator light on the Shuffle Series III Speaker flashes white. Please power on your speaker if the light isn’t on. Please charge the speaker if the light is still not on.
  2. Please turn off other Bluetooth devices if there are many Bluetooth devices near the Shuffle Series III Speaker as it may result in difficulties pairing with your device.
  3. Restart the Shuffle Series III Speaker so it restarts the Bluetooth search/pairing with your desired connected device.

  • Do not disassemble or modify this accessory in any manner.
  • Do not attempt to power this device using any other method than as instructed explicitly in this user guide.
  • This accessory is intended for adults and not minors. Failure not to follow these warnings is the sole
    responsibility of the purchaser, who agrees to indemnify the Manufacturer (”Wave Audio”) for any
    unintended use/misuse by a minor.
  • All products must pass through a thorough quality inspection at the time of manufacture. However, if you find that your device is excessively hot, is found to be deformed outside its regular appearance or is emitting smoke, immediately stop using the device and contact Wave Audio.

Warranty information

Wave Audio 2-YEAR STANDARD MANUFACTURER WARRANTY

3sixT will replace the faulty product at no cost to the consumer. The warranty does not extend to any consequential damages or costs that may be incurred and is valid for 2 YEARS from the date of purchase.

The consumer must return the faulty product to the retail store it was purchased from together with proof of purchase. The benefits to the consumer under this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies of the consumer under Australian and New Zealand laws in relation to the goods to which the warranty relates.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
